THE LEAD
Vanessa and I have lived around Shea our whole lives, and we can't remember a Halloween quite as wet as Saturday's. We saw parents rig up rain covers, find creative ways to keep candy dry, and keep their trick-or-treaters going. It wasn't the night anyone planned, but we had fun watching our neighbors make the best of it.
To every parent who got drenched so the kids could have their Halloween: we hope you got first pick of the leftover candy.
